Give it up for the Band!
DINO FERRARESE
Bass Guitar; Saxophone; Male Lead Vocalist
Dino is the leader and founder of the band.
An accomplished musician and entertainer since thirteen
years old, Dino has been involved for many years in
various bands throughout the Tri-County District. (Albany
- Schenectady - Troy). Dino studied music at the Schenectady
Community College. He plays the saxophone (tenor ,alto
and soprano) drums, bass, keyboards and guitar. Dino
has numerous concerts, weddings, and nightclub engagements
to his credit. In the summer of '89, the band CAPRI was
the back-up band for the Shirrelles when they were
on tour at the Sagamore Hotel in Lake George.
LAWRENCE PERKINS
Drums; Male Lead Vocalist
He has been with the band for seventeen
years. Since his high school years, Larry has been
in various successful bands in the Capital District.
He continued his music career by relocating to Dallas,
Texas, where he was on the road with various bands.
He also toured with Dottie West. He has also done an
extensive amount of studio work and has filled in with
various area bands. Larry has many engagements to his
credit.
PETER ZARRILLO
Guitar; Trumpet; Male Lead Vocalist
Pete has been with the band for Ten years.
Pete started playing at the age of ten. At the age
of seventeen he started playing live, filling in with
various area bands in the Capital District. He started
and played in a very successful wedding band for seven
years before joining CAPRI. His credits
also include playing for the premier of the movie "Iron
Weed."
LARRY FINK
Keyboards; Synthesizer; Male Lead Vocalist
MARY ANNE CURRO FERRARESE
Female Lead Vocalist; Percussion
Mary Anne has been the lead vocalist for
the band CAPRI for the past twenty,
years. She has also had many solo performances to her
credit. She has been involved in many church and school
productions, capturing the lead roles in the SOUND
OF MUSIC and GODSPELL. She has won many competitions
at the SOUNDTRAX Recording Studio, both as solo performer
and duet recording artist. She was also the 1988 winner
of the Massachusetts National Show Biz competition
and one of the ten finalists in the International Show
Biz competition held at Mount Airy Lodge in the Poconos,
Pennsylvania. Mary Anne's recording credits include
being featured on an album singing two duets and as
back-up vocalist. Her credits also include an audition
for the nationally televised show STAR SEARCH in New
York City. Mary Anne also won the grand prize at one
of the local Karaoke competitions.
